Tonight, the ASUO Women’s Center along with Sexual Assault Support Services hosted the annual Take Back the Night rally, march, and speak-out beginning at the University of Oregon campus and ending in downtown Eugene. Included among the points covered in the interviews were immigration and human rights as they relate to the women’s fight to “take back the night,” issues around assault of women in prison, cavity searches, survivor empowerment via rally and marching, and how to participate in this year’s and next year’s events.
